Rotary Club of Caledonia
The Rotary Club of Caledonia welcomes you!
The Rotary Club of Caledonia is committed to serve and support the local and global community. This vision is realized through weekly fellowship, personal integrity and our pledge to the Four-Way Test, the Rotary Avenues of Service and community leadership.
The Rotary Club of Caledonia was chartered in 1990 under the sponsorship of the Rotary Club of La Crescent.
The club conducts fundraising activities to fund local high school scholarships, community projects, international projects, the Rotary Foundation, Rotary
Works Foundation, and Polio Plus. Major projects included building the gazebo in the Caledonia City Park, building the concession stand at the high school, ethics/leadership programs at Caledonia schools, and purchasing a second LUCAS machine for the Caledonia Ambulance Service. A current program is the Dolly Parton Imagination Library for children birth to 5 years old. Each month the children receive a book suited for their age. Other community service projects for this year include Neighbors' Day, gazebo garden maintenance, Rotary Lights, scholarships, and a Helping Hands Backpack project. International projects included water wells in Africa and a library project in Cameroon.
