October 3 meeting : Arien, chair of Club Admin/Foundation, will be presenting information on the Rotary Foundation and Rotary Works Foundation and to collect pledge information for this Rotary year.  Also, will go over upcoming socials.

 

October 10 meeting : It's field trip day!  Our morning club meeting with rotate to our speakers place of business - Frank & Julia's Grocer + Deli at 138 S Kingston Street where Tracey will be making us a breakfast sandwich and talk about their new downtown business.  Arien will need head count for breakfast that day - please let her know by Wednesday, October 8th if you will be eating there.  

 

October 17 meeting : Our Caledonia Interact students will come to talk about their plans this upcoming school year.  

 

October 24 Board Meeting

 

In November we need some help with finding a speaker for November 14.  Julie will be giving the program on November 7.  She writes :my daughter Kate will be taking over my business and expanding with more therapists in more locations.  My daughter Sarah who also works with us has also just opened a mental health clinic in downtown La Crosse.  The three of us would be happy to do a program on all of the changes happening in Caledonia and the surrounding area.

 

The membership committee has recommended that we think about having an event where each member asks a prospective member to come to a meeting with them.  At that meeting we have a speaker and discussion about Rotary membership.  This meeting could be held at our usual time and place, or at a separate time and venue.
